Joanna Booth Weddings is now Sanguine Couture Weddings! After many years and requests for people wanting images like my Sanguine Portraiture page, I’ve decided to change the direction of my weddings to be more in alignment with my Vogue portraiture side of things.
It started in 2019 when a fellow wedding planner (Aisle Runners) asked me to style a photoshoot of a couple in a fine art style. Years ago, I just couldn’t fathom creating wedding images in my Sanguine Portraiture style because I knew how much effort goes into creating those style of images. Back then, images took almost 4-5 hours to edit. The thought of creating such imagery for 100s of photos just wasn’t possible.

Two years after that session in 2021, and I had a bride discover my Sanguine brand and asked if I could do her wedding with a portrait booth, similar to what I do in studio. I wasn’t sure I could do it. I made no promises that the efforts would be successful. But she believed in me and booked me anyway. Lol! To say it was one of the most exciting and really nerve-wracking experience in my life was an understatement. But her wedding was my first huge wedding, with a wedding party of 20 people, over 200+guest, exquisite decor, multiple sites for portraits, etc. I relied on my years of portrait work to create my first ever Vogue featured image in PhotoVogue.

After seeing that I could create elements of my Sanguine brand into weddings, I started trying including more and more into the wedding day. I embraced the different lighting scenarios, learned from each attempt, failure, and success. Then my work began to morph from being a light/airy floral woodsy photographer, to a very Vogue centered, structured, regal and sophisticated.

With those changes, I wanted my brand to match what I was already doing. My work was already elevated. My client experience was already similar to my Sanguine brand with heavy client focus, client gifts, and multiple client meetings. So it just made sense to make some minor tweaks to represent my work in the best and more accurate way. So Sanguine Couture Weddings is the result…and I’m super excited for it.

Changes in pricing now remove the various packaged based on hours, photographers, deliverables, etc. There’s essentially three collections.
All Inclusive
The first is an all-inclusive that is customized to your wedding needs. Hours will be based on our conversation of your timeline of when certain activities begin and end.

The Weekend Experience
The second collection is a weekend collection. That one brings in the events surrounding your wedding day. Options of having me there for a pre-wedding dinner, brunch, etc. are now additional elements that will tell more of your wedding story.

Multi-Day Traditional
Lastly, is the mutli-day wedding. It’s created for those traditional weddings that span 3 days. Instead of having days as add-ons, this collection includes those events.

So take a look through my website then contact me for your consultation. We will discuss my pricing, your event plans, what to expect, and how to book me as your wedding photographer.

I welcome you to Sanguine Couture Weddings and look forward to getting to know you!
